Tuna, Cucumber, Wakame Seaweed Salad
This seaweed salad serves 2-3 people.
Ingredients
- 150-200g (1 tin) Tuna in brine - drained.
- 1 Cucumber.
- 10g Rock or sea salt.
- 5g Dried, chopped Wakame seaweed - soak in plenty of water for 10-15
minutes.
- White pepper.
- Mayonnaise.
Recipe for Seaweed Salad
- Cut the cucumber into quarters length-ways, then chop into 5mm dice.
Sprinkle with rock salt and leave for 15-20 minutes.
- Transfer the cucumber to a sieve and rinse with water. Then squeeze
gently to take the excess juice off.
- In a bowl, mix the cucumber, tuna and drained wakame, mayonnaise and
white pepper.
Tips
You can use celery with or instead of cucumber. A tin of salmon can be used
in place of a tin of tuna to add variety to your seaweed salad.
