Soy and Cream Mushroom Spaghetti Recipe
This spaghetti recipe serves 1.
Ingredients
- 90g Dried spaghetti.
- 150g Enoki mushroom - remove the bottom and divide into a manageable
size.
- 150g Shimeji or Oyster mushroom - slice.
- 1 clove of garlic - sliced.
- 5ml (1tsp) Dark soy sauce.
- 5ml (1tsp) Single or Double cream (your choice).
- 5ml (1tsp) Olive oil.
- Salt and pepper.
- Chopped parsley.
Recipe
- Boil the spaghetti in a large pan with salt (1L water with 10g salt).
- Meanwhile, into a medium heat frying pan, add olive oil and cook the
garlic.
- Cook the mushroom for 1 minute but do not over-cook.
- Add soy sauce, a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper.
- Drain the spaghetti well and add to the pan.
- Stir well, add cream and stir again.
- Transfer to the plate, sprinkle chopped parsley and serve.
Tips
Vary the amount of salt and pepper according to your taste. Add a strip of
bacon if you like. When you use bacon, reduce the amount of salt and soy
sauce. Any type os pasta may be used.
